In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Ermita AFC's goalkeeper Roldán Coira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tauro Paz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benigno Lacorte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. The referee ignored Lucis Augusti's protests and gave Gartzea Llinares a yellow card for diving instead. La Ermita AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Urtsua Fonticoba in the 100th minute.
