Lucis Augusti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmiro Sainz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gartzea Llinares during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cirino Griful who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Benigno Lacorte when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Grau Team's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Lucis Augusti had won, even though Grau Team had held more of the ball.
