Goi Pareja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gizon Cano, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gizon Cano in the 16th minute of play forced Bergara KE's goalkeeper Goi Pareja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josete Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Goi Pareja having to interfere. When Pedro Esperta fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bergara KE's protests and gave Pedro Esperta a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bergara KE's Pedro Esperta got a free kick in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Bergara KE's goal looked a bit too open when Gizon Cano came free, but Goi Pareja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gartzea Llinares charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gartzea Llinares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Gizon Cano came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Lucis Augusti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gizon Cano couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Josete Bueno in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Goi Pareja prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute, Lico Vila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Peyo Ucero made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Bergara KE's Koldo Baeza got a free kick in the 54th minute. After 55 minutes, Koldo Baeza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bergara KE and the Lucis Augusti players grew even worse after the yellow card. Koldo Baeza kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gizon Cano in the 59th minute of play forced Bergara KE's goalkeeper Goi Pareja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gizon Cano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peyo Ucero hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Gizon Cano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Goi Pareja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gizon Cano's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Bergara KE's goal looked a bit too open when Gizon Cano came free, but Goi Pareja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Josete Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Goi Pareja having to interfere. After 82 minutes, Remigio Ricoy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bergara KE and the Lucis Augusti players grew even worse after the yellow card. Goi Pareja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gizon Cano, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Evarado Alcalde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bergara KE's supporters rose to their feet, but Evarado Alcalde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benigno Lacorte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 97th minute, Bergara KE's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Josete Bueno fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The Bergara KE fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lucis Augusti were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
