The referee ignored La Ermita AFC's protests and gave Urtsua Fonticoba a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in La Ermita AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Bergara KE. Guter Cameno stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Roldán Coira. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Bergara KE's zone, Tauro Paz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Goi Pareja came out of the goal and Tauro Paz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Garaona Orbiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calvet Barral hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Peyo Ucero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roldán Coira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evarado Alcalde in the 17th minute of play. If Tauro Paz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garaona Orbiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of La Ermita AFC booed when Bergara KE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Ricoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Bergara KE's goal looked a bit too open when Garaona Orbiz came free, but Goi Pareja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tauro Paz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Goi Pareja when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Garaona Orbiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tauro Paz came free with the goalkeeper in the 48th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Goi Pareja could save by the left post.

The wind increased when Garaona Orbiz made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Bergara KE's goal looked a bit too open when Garaona Orbiz came free, but Goi Pareja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garaona Orbiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bergara KE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peyo Ucero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peyo Ucero in the 83rd minute of play forced La Ermita AFC's goalkeeper Roldán Coira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tauro Paz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Garaona Orbiz in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Goi Pareja saved Bergara KE from getting behind. Koldo Baeza hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. La Ermita AFC had played much better football throughout.
