Oto Baños made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gizon Cano in the 10th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Altea's Saul Revuelta got a free kick in the 11th minute. Fe Quintanilla took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oto Baños. Altea's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Oscar Riveras short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Benigno Lacorte to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Samuel Izaguirre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lucis Augusti's goalkeeper Benigno Lacorte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Lucis Augusti's zone, Gabi Serrano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benigno Lacorte came out of the goal and Gabi Serrano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samuel Izaguirre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Lacorte having to interfere. Altea's Oto Baños played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier Arias in the 31st minute of play. After 38 minutes, Esdras Flores mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Altea and the Lucis Augusti players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 40 played minutes Lucis Augusti got a freekick which was hit by Gartzea Llinares. 44 minutes into the match, Fe Quintanilla notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Altea's Oto Baños. Oto Baños was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gizon Cano made a kick off. Samuel Izaguirre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Benigno Lacorte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Altea's Oto Baños got control of the ball when Josete Bueno tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benigno Lacorte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabi Serrano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benigno Lacorte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabi Serrano in the 64th minute of the match. Lucis Augusti were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
