Tomiño's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Escorial AFC the free kick. A collision led to Tomiño getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Emmanuel Ramiréz kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Gentza Santiago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toni Cao in the 20th minute of play. Gerard Santander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in El Escorial AFC's zone, Ion Fuente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gentza Santiago came out of the goal and Ion Fuente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomiño's Sebastiano Carreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Tomiño from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute, Quirze Taules hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yago Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastiano Carreira having to interfere. El Escorial AFC's Gerard Santander got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Tomiño's goalkeeper Sebastiano Carreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerard Santander. Ion Fuente took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gentza Santiago. Gentza Santiago dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toni Cao to make the kick off. Ion Fuente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Gentza Santiago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomiño's Sebastiano Carreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pacho Cerreri in the 56th minute of play. The El Escorial AFC fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when El Escorial AFC's Pacho Cerreri looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Pacho Cerreri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pacho Cerreri struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Sebastiano Carreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Escorial AFC. Pacho Cerreri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastiano Carreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pacho Cerreri in the 75th minute of the match. Eneas Ramis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Sebastiano Carreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
