Spectators: 7314 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1764, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Quirce Barro started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute Quirce Barro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xacintu Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Quirce Barro made a precise shot to the right of Xacintu Paredes. F.C. Tarragona U21-U23's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Navarro Rapado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xacintu Paredes having to interfere. Mitxel Reina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urtungo Bouzon, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After a rather tough play, F.C. Tarragona U21-U23's Tino Molina got a free kick in the 15th minute. F.C. Tarragona U21-U23's Xacintu Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Navarro Rapado in the 16th minute of play. After 20 minutes of play, F.C. Tarragona U21-U23's Teobaldo Ruiz made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mitxel Reina was left in no man's land by his defense there! Navarro Rapado kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Valenbici C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Ruiz came free, but Mitxel Reina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Valenbici C.F. getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Gert Sjögren hit a great ball. In the 28th minute of the match Fructuoso Esteban shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mitxel Reina showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Quirce Barro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Xacintu Paredes. Quirce Barro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. The supporters of F.C. Tarragona U21-U23 booed when Valenbici C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleazar Fuster didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Valenbici C.F.'s Gert Sjögren got a free kick in the 41st minute. After 42 played minutes, F.C. Tarragona U21-U23's Fructuoso Esteban shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mitxel Reina came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in F.C. Tarragona U21-U23 reached it. Quirce Barro kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Mitxel Reina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urtungo Bouzon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eleazar Fuster kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Teobaldo Ruiz made the kick off in the second half. Teobaldo Ruiz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Mitxel Reina when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Urtungo Bouzon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mitxel Reina made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Urtungo Bouzon sent off a good shot on target. Urtungo Bouzon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mitxel Reina having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Valenbici C.F.'s goalkeeper Mitxel Reina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teobaldo Ruiz. In the 72nd minute of the game Victorio Cardeñosa made a throw-in which Navarro Rapado played forward. 77 minutes into the game, F.C. Tarragona U21-U23's Teobaldo Ruiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mitxel Reina made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Valenbici C.F.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Teobaldo Ruiz 83 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-4. Navarro Rapado kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. F.C. Tarragona U21-U23 played a much better game than Valenbici C.F. and deserved their victory. The Valenbici C.F. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
