In the 17th match minute, Igualada AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ventura Jubera to maneuver through the defense. In the 20thth minute of the game Toni Cao who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Igualada AFC's Checa Sauca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leobardo Zurica charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leobardo Zurica the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 94 minutes into the match, Tomiño's goal looked a bit too open when Mino Puig came free, but Sebastiano Carreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mino Puig was extremely unlucky when he, in the 97th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Leobardo Zurica managed to get in a good position for a shot. Igualada AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leobardo Zurica was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastiano Carreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Igualada AFC played a much better game than Tomiño and deserved their victory. The Tomiño players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
