In the 4th minute Manolito Cacheres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mitxel Reina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mitxel Reina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raúl Flores in the 8th minute of the match. Fidel Machado hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Navarro Rapado during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Drono FC's Claus Zafrilla in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Valenbici C.F.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 46th minute, Fidel Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claus Zafrilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mitxel Reina having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Quirce Barro made the kick off in the second half. Mitxel Reina made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Claus Zafrilla sent off a good shot on target. Drono FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by García Aceves in the 57th minute. A collision led to Valenbici C.F. getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Fidel Machado hit a great ball. The long shot by Raúl Flores in the 64th minute really tested Mitxel Reina's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Mitxel Reina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claus Zafrilla in the 67th minute. In the 74th minute, Claus Zafrilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Drono FC's Raúl Flores got a free kick in the 80th minute. Claus Zafrilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Manolito Cacheres notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Valenbici C.F.'s Mitxel Reina. Mitxel Reina was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Manolito Cacheres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mitxel Reina having to interfere. Drono FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
