The El Escorial AFC fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when El Escorial AFC's Pacho Cerreri looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 9 played minutes El Escorial AFC got a freekick which was hit by Yago Paredes. Pacho Cerreri scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Alonso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Angelo Alonso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerard Santander went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Pacho Cerreri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelo Alonso was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Angelo Alonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerard Santander, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Gentza Santiago was a little too slow when Raúl Flores got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 1-4. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raúl Flores to strike the kick off in the second half. Gentza Santiago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl Flores, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. García Aceves kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Pacho Cerreri received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Angelo Alonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerard Santander in the 68th minute of play. With an all-out effort, El Escorial AFC's Angelo Alonso threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pacho Cerreri, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gerard Santander scored 2-6 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Alonso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee felt a red card was in order, 83 minutes into the game, when Lucio Zafrilla put in a rough tackle. 82 minutes into the game, one of Drono FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave El Escorial AFC a penalty, 85 minutes into the game. Pacho Cerreri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Alonso having to interfere. Claus Zafrilla might have been able to make a better finish in the 99th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gentza Santiago. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claus Zafrilla ran back to his position shaking his head. Claus Zafrilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gentza Santiago having to interfere. The El Escorial AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing El Escorial AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
