Angelo Alonso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 26thth minute of the game Mino Puig who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Drono FC's Angelo Alonso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leobardo Zurica scored 0-4 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Alonso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Angelo Alonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mino Puig, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Mino Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Mino Puig kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Angelo Alonso. That made the score 0-5 in the 58 minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Leobardo Zurica could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Angelo Alonso however easily saved by the left post. Angelo Alonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mino Puig, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 77th minute, one of Igualada AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Igualada AFC. In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Drono FC. García Aceves stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Checa Sauca. 1-5. Leobardo Zurica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Angelo Alonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Claus Zafrilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute Mino Puig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Alonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 94 minutes, Leobardo Zurica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Igualada AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leobardo Zurica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. García Aceves kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the match was over Igualada AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Drono FC throughout the match.
