Claude Santander was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Armando Ucci capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Armando Ucci really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Carles Coppola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Zurica in the 9th minute of play. Tõnn Okapuu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claude Santander having to interfere. Claude Santander made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Xose Ruiz sent off a good shot on target. After 14 played minutes Sporting CP got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Casero. Bartolo Casero kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Claude Santander was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rolando Quijana showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 40 minutes into the match, Sporting CP's goal looked a bit too open when Xose Ruiz came free, but Claude Santander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 played minutes Sporting CP got a freekick which was hit by David Aznar. Armando Ucci scored 3-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claude Santander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rolando Quijana to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Sporting CP's goal looked a bit too open when Xose Ruiz came free, but Claude Santander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 52 minutes of play, Pitxu Dream Team's Armando Ucci made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
