An unexpectedly hard shot by Merlin Balmaceda in the 5th minute of play forced A.D. Puente Cantalojas's goalkeeper Atauri Salan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Zapater in the 7th minute of play forced Rojals's goalkeeper Phenix Wright to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rojals's Phenix Wright played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Zapater in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merlin Balmaceda in the 22nd minute of play forced A.D. Puente Cantalojas's goalkeeper Atauri Salan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atauri Salan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Merlin Balmaceda, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Marcial Zapater managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.D. Puente Cantalojas's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcial Zapater was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Phenix Wright breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rojals's goalkeeper Phenix Wright, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Rojals's Asier Pastor got a free kick in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the match, A.D. Puente Cantalojas's goal looked a bit too open when Bernabé Teresa came free, but Atauri Salan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Marcial Zapater managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.D. Puente Cantalojas's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcial Zapater was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Merlin Balmaceda to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, A.D. Puente Cantalojas's Bart Brandie got a free kick in the 51st minute. After having played for 52 minutes, Sandro Prieto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rojals's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandro Prieto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rojals's Bernabé Teresa got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rojals's goalkeeper Phenix Wright, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Phenix Wright took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Zapater, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A.D. Puente Cantalojas's Atauri Salan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merlin Balmaceda in the 66th minute of play. Phenix Wright came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by A.D. Puente Cantalojas's Marcial Zapater. But to his dismay, Marcial Zapater quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A.D. Puente Cantalojas's Emil Valström was substituted for Erland Odman. When Marcial Zapater fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.D. Puente Cantalojas's protests and gave Marcial Zapater a yellow card for diving instead. Marcial Zapater hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. A.D. Puente Cantalojas's attentive Michael Swartenbroekx managed to snatch the ball when Xamo Pareja made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. Atauri Salan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan-Francisco Morado, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The Rojals supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching A.D. Puente Cantalojas's performance. The match ended with a win for A.D. Puente Cantalojas.
