Alejandro Leon kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Helge Schleie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abejundio Madariaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Frederick Baltanas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Quevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Feliz Ladra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Tommy Rabot sped through Imperial's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Frederick Baltanas. 28 minutes into the match, Alejandro Leon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frederick Baltanas. Imperial's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alejandro Leon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After a rather tough play, Imperial's Quinto Bernal got a free kick in the 31st minute. The Xaloc fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Xaloc's Virgilio Quevedo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 1-6 when Virgilio Quevedo sped through Imperial's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Frederick Baltanas. After the first half Xaloc were leading 1-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abejundio Madariaga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Virgilio Quevedo scored 1-7 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frederick Baltanas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Imperial's Frederick Baltanas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Quevedo in the 57th minute of play. Mino Buendia hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Tommy Rabot let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 63rd minute shot 1-8 at rihgt post. In the 65th minute, Abejundio Madariaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 played minutes Imperial got a freekick which was hit by Alfronso Cazorla. The crowd rose to their feet as Tommy Rabot kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Frederick Baltanas. That made the score 1-9 in the 71 minute of play. After 74 minutes, Tommy Rabot made it 1-10 with a short kick to the right side. Imperial's Frederick Baltanas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Imperial's Mino Buendia got a free kick in the 79th minute. Xaloc made a substitution. Ton Torron replaced Tommy Rabot. Mino Buendia kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Virgilio Quevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xaloc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-11. Imperial's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Virgilio Quevedo scored to the left of an out of position Frederick Baltanas, making the score, 1-12. 98 minutes into the game, Virgilio Quevedo lined in a short shot 1-13 behind a frustrated Frederick Baltanas. Xaloc played a much better game than Imperial and deserved their victory. The Imperial players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
