The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of UD Almería booed when Alkor C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ritchie Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 3rd minute, Bitxintxo Prieto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Alkor C.F.'s Bartolomé Molina got control of the ball when Emenon Fuente tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bartolomé Molina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Platon Blazquez in the 12th minute of play. Emenon Fuente in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bartolomé Molina, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 23rd minute, Emenon Fuente fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Emenon Fuente did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Bartolomé Molina 25 minutes into the match. UD Almería's Emenon Fuente was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 30th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 36th minute, Alkor C.F.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bitxintxo Prieto fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 38 minutes into the match, Alkor C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Emenon Fuente came free, but Bartolomé Molina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emenon Fuente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the game, Emenon Fuente recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bartolomé Molina. Bartolomé Molina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emenon Fuente's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. In the 47th match minute, Alkor C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ritchie Mata to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emenon Fuente to strike the kick off in the second half. UD Almería's Emenon Fuente got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Urbes Casas charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urbes Casas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd match minute, Alkor C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbes Casas to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Emenon Fuente sped through Alkor C.F.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bartolomé Molina. In the 62ndth minute of the game Emenon Fuente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alkor C.F.'s Bartolomé Molina was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Emenon Fuente's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bartolomé Molina was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. 64 minutes into the match, Platon Blazquez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bartolomé Molina. Alkor C.F.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Platon Blazquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Sofronio Quiroga managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Almería's supporters rose to their feet, but Sofronio Quiroga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartolomé Molina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 70 minutes into the match, UD Almería's Emenon Fuente sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bartolomé Molina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Platon Blazquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Alkor C.F. getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Ritchie Mata hit a great ball. Platon Blazquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolomé Molina having to interfere. In the 84thth minute of the game Musko Zurica who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alkor C.F.'s Bartolomé Molina was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emenon Fuente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bartolomé Molina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emenon Fuente in the 86th minute of play. After 89 minutes, Emenon Fuente made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. Alkor C.F.'s Bartolomé Molina tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. UD Almería fully deserved thier win.
