When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Etxatxu Acarreta took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Estebano Vazquez to make any attempt to save it. 12 minutes into the game, Eleuterio De Paula recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Estebano Vazquez. Eleuterio De Paula showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Estebano Vazquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio De Paula in the 15th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Belisario Sampil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valliniello F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paterna the free kick. After a rather tough play, Valliniello F.C's Belisario Sampil got a free kick in the 18th minute. Raymond Verdaguer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almarín Zapico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moncho Tormes might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Estebano Vazquez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Moncho Tormes ran back to his position shaking his head. Gamus Zafrilla hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Eleuterio De Paula didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 25th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Eleuterio De Paula ran dejectedly back to his position. Lucero Flores took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Estebano Vazquez. Paterna's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eleuterio De Paula recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 34 minutes, Eleuterio De Paula managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valliniello F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleuterio De Paula was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Etxatxu Acarreta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Estebano Vazquez came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Valliniello F.C's Eleuterio De Paula. But to his dismay, Eleuterio De Paula quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 45thth minute of the game Almarín Bartumeu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valliniello F.C's Raymond Verdaguer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valliniello F.C's Eleuterio De Paula got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Pere Cabrera made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Paterna booed when Valliniello F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucero Flores didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the game, Midas Aguado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paterna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valliniello F.C the free kick. A collision led to Paterna getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Midas Aguado hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Paterna's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio De Paula came free, but Estebano Vazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Moncho Tormes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Paterna's goal looked a bit too open when Etxatxu Acarreta came free, but Estebano Vazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Gamus Zafrilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valliniello F.C's Eleuterio De Paula got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Estebano Vazquez came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Valliniello F.C's Eleuterio De Paula. But to his dismay, Eleuterio De Paula quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The supporters of Paterna booed when Valliniello F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucero Flores didn't get a good kick on the ball. Etxatxu Acarreta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Etxatxu Acarreta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Etxatxu Acarreta in the 92nd minute of play forced Paterna's goalkeeper Estebano Vazquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moncho Tormes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Estebano Vazquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paterna's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
