Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ospin Vila made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in Zapata's zone, Licerio Valines stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pacorro Valdivia came out of the goal and Licerio Valines tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pacorro Valdivia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ospin Vila in the 9th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Zapata's zone, Pablo Marmol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pacorro Valdivia came out of the goal and Pablo Marmol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tana's Ospin Vila got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ospin Vila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ospin Vila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ospin Vila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Pacorro Valdivia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pacorro Valdivia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Marmol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Charro Arraz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pacorro Valdivia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Amor Sánchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Ospin Vila sped through Zapata's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pacorro Valdivia. After 32 minutes of play, Tana's Licerio Valines made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pacorro Valdivia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pacorro Valdivia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charro Arraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After some careless play in the Zapata defense, Ospin Vila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pacorro Valdivia. The Zapata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pacorro Valdivia should have stopped the shot. 45 minutes into the match, Zapata's goal looked a bit too open when Ospin Vila came free, but Pacorro Valdivia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Tana's Charro Arraz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pacorro Valdivia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osvaldo De Toro to make the kick off. Charro Arraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ospin Vila in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pacorro Valdivia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Licerio Valines came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Tana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Licerio Valines couldn't finish the play. Charro Arraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pacorro Valdivia having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Tana's Pablo Marmol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pacorro Valdivia. Pacorro Valdivia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Tana's Ospin Vila got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Tana's Pablo Marmol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pacorro Valdivia. Pacorro Valdivia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. 73 minutes into the game, Licerio Valines cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Pacorro Valdivia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 76thth minute of the game Licerio Valines who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zapata's Pacorro Valdivia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Pablo Marmol came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Tana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pablo Marmol couldn't finish the play. In the 78th match minute, Zapata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauren Campomanes to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Charro Arraz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pacorro Valdivia. Zapata's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charro Arraz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. After some careless play in the Zapata defense, Pablo Marmol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pacorro Valdivia. The Zapata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pacorro Valdivia should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute, Tana's Ospin Vila dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-11. In the 89th minute, Charro Arraz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Licerio Valines struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Pacorro Valdivia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tana. After having played for 92 minutes, Pablo Marmol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Marmol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Charro Arraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Pacorro Valdivia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ospin Vila struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Pacorro Valdivia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tana. Tana's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
