In the 28th match minute, Zapata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Migúel Gimeno to maneuver through the defense. Derwin Comas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pacorro Valdivia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Alonso Valdivia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo De Toro, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Tomualdo Bajo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Alonso Valdivia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reyes Lagunas charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reyes Lagunas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ametz Pedraza was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, Albir fc's Pacorro Valdivia threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Derwin Comas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Zapata's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ametz Pedraza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Tomualdo Bajo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alonso Valdivia having to make a save. Tito Pais's late challenge caught a Albir fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tito Pais helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Zapata getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Tito Pais hit a great ball. Ametz Pedraza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Albir fc players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
