In the 14th minute Serafin Shantala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Dres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miloš Sojka took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felipe Puyol. Medardo Valines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Iwan Dres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Medardo Valines managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Cangrejos's supporters rose to their feet, but Medardo Valines was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iwan Dres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the match, Peter Novotný notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Los Cangrejos's Felipe Puyol. Felipe Puyol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Iwan Dres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafin Shantala, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Medardo Valines to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Novotný in the 56th minute of play forced Los Cangrejos's goalkeeper Felipe Puyol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miloš Sojka in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipe Puyol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felipe Puyol came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Dark Knights FC's Rudolf Håning. But to his dismay, Rudolf Håning quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Medardo Valines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Dres having to interfere. Felipe Puyol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miloš Sojka in the 66th minute of play. Los Cangrejos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miloš Sojka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0.
