Firman Canal's late challenge caught a EL COMANDANTE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Firman Canal helped the player get up and apologised. EL COMANDANTE's Mario Ramiréz was substituted for Gonzo Sobrado. Firman Canal hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Gaizka Alavedra came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Puebla de Burón's Timo Galego. But to his dismay, Timo Galego quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ilixo Urquijo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cordeal Torrent having to interfere. Ilixo Urquijo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Cordeal Torrent when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Loren Barroso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ilixo Urquijo got free with Cordeal Torrent in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the game, Ilixo Urquijo lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Cordeal Torrent. In the 26th minute, Ilixo Urquijo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EL COMANDANTE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. If Ilixo Urquijo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cordeal Torrent stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ilixo Urquijo's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. When Ilixo Urquijo came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the EL COMANDANTE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilixo Urquijo couldn't finish the play. Cordeal Torrent was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Ilixo Urquijo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ilixo Urquijo really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sagrario Gonzalez to strike the kick off in the second half. Ilixo Urquijo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Cordeal Torrent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Puebla de Burón's Cordeal Torrent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilixo Urquijo in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Puebla de Burón booed when EL COMANDANTE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Uria didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ilixo Urquijo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65thth minute of the game Ilixo Urquijo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Puebla de Burón's Cordeal Torrent was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Loren Barroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cordeal Torrent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilixo Urquijo, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute, Loren Barroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ilixo Urquijo during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, EL COMANDANTE's Ilixo Urquijo got a free kick in the 76th minute. When Delmar Palomares came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the EL COMANDANTE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Palomares couldn't finish the play. Raymundo Maestro kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Miro Gomar hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Ilixo Urquijo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
