ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Lazcano Mendez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aloisio Pujol in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Murcia Imperial C.F.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lazcano Mendez was slow to take the kick. During this time ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's players had a chance to rest. The corner led ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Laerte Favoretto to fire away a dangerous shot which Aloisio Pujol despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Plauto Quesada hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the game, Jakes Vila cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Aloisio Pujol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Laerte Favoretto had several of the Real Murcia Imperial C.F.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 17 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Aloisio Pujol as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 20th minute Jakes Vila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloisio Pujol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laerte Favorettos short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Aloisio Pujol to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 23rd minute, Jakes Vila fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Aloisio Pujol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakes Vila, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After some careless play in the ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO defense, Macias Lama kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remigio Valerón. The ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remigio Valerón should have stopped the shot. Aloisio Pujol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laerte Favoretto in the 29th minute. In the 33rd minute Tomas Lewandowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Valerón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Aloisio Pujol successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Remigio Valerón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Plauto Quesada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Real Murcia Imperial C.F.'s Aloisio Pujol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Rapado in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Real Murcia Imperial C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Macias Lama to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Real Murcia Imperial C.F.'s goalkeeper Aloisio Pujol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jakes Vila. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakes Vila in the 43rd minute of play forced Real Murcia Imperial C.F.'s goalkeeper Aloisio Pujol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillermo Rapado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Aloisio Pujol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

In the 51st minute Amadeo Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloisio Pujol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Lewandowski in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remigio Valerón prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filomeno Camaño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Reyes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd match minute, Real Murcia Imperial C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tebaldo Mondejar to maneuver through the defense. Aloisio Pujol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakes Vila in the 63rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Real Murcia Imperial C.F.'s Macias Lama got a free kick in the 67th minute. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Guido Escobar was substituted for Jakes Vila. Macias Lama kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Guillermo Rapado struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Aloisio Pujol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO. Filomeno Camaño took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aloisio Pujol. Aloisio Pujol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Uzuri Gala kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Real Murcia Imperial C.F. made a substitution. Beila Encina replaced Macias Lama. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Julio Alacuart was substituted for Laerte Favoretto. After 77 played minutes Real Murcia Imperial C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Uzuri Gala. If Beila Encina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Real Murcia Imperial C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Julio Alacuart came free, but Aloisio Pujol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lazcano Mendez kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After 95 minutes of play, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Julio Alacuart made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aloisio Pujol was left in no man's land by his defense there! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO fully deserved thier win.
