Celino Sánchez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute, Alf Jonsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celino Sánchez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Delcho Katerinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pepe Pareja in the 13th minute of play. Celino Sánchez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niva Reyes went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Villarrubia De Los Ojos's supporters rose to their feet, but Rubén Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celino Sánchez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cañaveral's goalkeeper Celino Sánchez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 26 minutes into the game, Alf Jonsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Celino Sánchez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rubén Castro scored 0-4 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celino Sánchez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 38th match minute, Cañaveral was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Pastor to maneuver through the defense. Niva Reyes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celino Sánchez having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pepe Pareja to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Niva Reyes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villarrubia De Los Ojos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niva Reyes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alf Jonsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Celino Sánchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Niva Reyes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villarrubia De Los Ojos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Delcho Katerinski came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Cañaveral's Aniol Baños. But to his dismay, Aniol Baños quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. When Rubén Castro came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Villarrubia De Los Ojos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rubén Castro couldn't finish the play. Alf Jonsson struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Celino Sánchez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villarrubia De Los Ojos. Cañaveral's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Niva Reyes scored to the left of an out of position Celino Sánchez, making the score, 1-7. In the 81st minute Jaizki Doblas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delcho Katerinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 played minutes Villarrubia De Los Ojos got a freekick which was hit by Joãozinho Severiano. Enrique Landa hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Zacarías Martinez kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Rubén Castro hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. A collision led to Villarrubia De Los Ojos getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Manolito Galnares hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Villarrubia De Los Ojos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
