Spectators: 7946 (Terracing: 5960, Seating: 1828, VIP seats: 158) Arizkun's Dani Böke started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Placido Sacristán kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arizkun's goalkeeper Adolfo Ribeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 16 played minutes Arizkun got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Tobias. Germán Labarra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adolfo Ribeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Arnas Maldonado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adolfo Ribeiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 27th minute Arnas Maldonado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arizkun's Adolfo Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnas Maldonado in the 34th minute of play. Firman Vilanova took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dani Böke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adolfo Ribeiro came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Melilleros C.F's Arnas Maldonado. But to his dismay, Arnas Maldonado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Arnas Maldonado made the kick off in the second half. Giro Riells charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giro Riells the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Arizkun's Giro Riells got a free kick in the 51st minute. With a little luck, Arizkun's Adolfo Ribeiro got control of the ball when Rico Soldado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arizkun's Adolfo Ribeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Arizkun from getting a goal against them. When Ritchie Rossello came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Melilleros C.F fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ritchie Rossello couldn't finish the play. 75 minutes into the game, Casimiro Tobias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arizkun's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Melilleros C.F the free kick. Melilleros C.F's Xaime Babia was substituted for Roberto Hevia. Casimiro Tobias kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Adolfo Ribeiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Xaime Babia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 78 minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Arnas Maldonado notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Arizkun's Adolfo Ribeiro. Adolfo Ribeiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Arizkun's Adolfo Ribeiro got control of the ball when Xaime Babia tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Melilleros C.F getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Rico Soldado hit a great ball. Melilleros C.F's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
