Spectators: 7843 (Terracing: 5850, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 156) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gustavo Medina took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Curcio Soto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bogdy's supporters rose to their feet, but Curcio Soto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristeo Gibert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aristeo Gibert came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Bogdy's Patrick Zimmerman. But to his dismay, Patrick Zimmerman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 24th minute, Gustavo Medina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 30 minutes, Cipriano Campomanes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bogdy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Campomanes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Patrick Zimmerman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aristeo Gibert was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 34th minute Curcio Soto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristeo Gibert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Quijana kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Monte Alcedo AFC's Pio Palacios got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute Patrick Zimmerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristeo Gibert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Bogdy getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Toni Cifuentes hit a great ball. Gustavo Medina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elpidio Silvanito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Monte Alcedo AFC's Aristeo Gibert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Zimmerman in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Curcio Soto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Monte Alcedo AFC's Aristeo Gibert got control of the ball when Patrick Zimmerman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Monte Alcedo AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Curcio Soto scored to the left of an out of position Aristeo Gibert, making the score, 1-2. Aristeo Gibert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Zimmerman in the 58th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrick Zimmerman in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristeo Gibert saved Monte Alcedo AFC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Curcio Soto in the 64th minute of play forced Monte Alcedo AFC's goalkeeper Aristeo Gibert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Monte Alcedo AFC's Aristeo Gibert got control of the ball when Patrick Zimmerman tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 76 minutes of play, Monte Alcedo AFC's Urko Alarcon made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elpidio Silvanito was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aristeo Gibert made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Patrick Zimmerman sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st match minute, Bogdy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toni Cifuentes to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bogdy's goalkeeper Elpidio Silvanito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 86 minutes into the game, Patrick Zimmerman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aristeo Gibert. Patrick Zimmerman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Monte Alcedo AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Patrick Zimmerman scored to the left of an out of position Aristeo Gibert, making the score, 2-4. In the 92nd match minute, Monte Alcedo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berbiz Paz to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Heriberto Pastor during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 played minutes Bogdy got a freekick which was hit by Heriberto Pastor. If Cipriano Campomanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Monte Alcedo AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bogdy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
