The audience thought a goal was coming when Antoni Belalcaraz got free with Txomin Novo in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Otero Jaen struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Txomin Novo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Velez Bcn SAD. A collision led to Dega Bahi F.C getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Mauricio Feliu hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Demesio Tobia during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th minute, Demesio Tobia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Dega Bahi F.C's Demesio Tobia got a free kick in the 41st minute. Txomin Novo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 42nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Vito Vilanova. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When Anaia Abancens came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Velez Bcn SAD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anaia Abancens couldn't finish the play. Otero Jaen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Txomin Novo having to interfere. Txomin Novo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anaia Abancens in the 55th minute of the match. When Etxepare Escurza fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dega Bahi F.C's protests and gave Etxepare Escurza a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th match minute, Dega Bahi F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Etxepare Escurza to maneuver through the defense. If Otero Jaen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th match minute, Velez Bcn SAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesario Losada to maneuver through the defense. Cesario Losada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matthew Duran charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matthew Duran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Txomin Novo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesario Losada, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dega Bahi F.C's goalkeeper Txomin Novo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
