Donatello Talavera made in the 19th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Julio De Silva. Idacio Incera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Mats Wallengren made a huge save. Oscar Minguez took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tino Tormes. Tino Tormes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Matasuegras FC's Mats Wallengren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osoro Ucero in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute Xuan Rojas suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. A collision led to Los Vagos C.F. getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Naldo Garcia hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Los Vagos C.F. defense, Espiridion Garcia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tino Tormes. The Los Vagos C.F. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tino Tormes should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osoro Ucero got free with Mats Wallengren in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mats Wallengren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Idacio Incera in the 39th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Espiridion Garcia in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tino Tormes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Matasuegras FC booed when Los Vagos C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osoro Ucero didn't get a good kick on the ball.
