Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Raymond Cazorla kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Favila Diez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SD Cruces fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After having played for 14 minutes, Beila Buendia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Girona FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beila Buendia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antonio Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xamo Feria in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xamo Feria in the 21st minute of play forced SD Cruces's goalkeeper Antonio Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beila Buendia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Eguzki Aballe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Girona FC's Hechter Moya got a free kick in the 26th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Hechter Moya dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Antonio Moreno, 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Beila Buendia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Antonio Moreno. That made the score 2-1 in the 37 minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Hechter Moya dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Antonio Moreno, 3-1. SD Cruces's Antonio Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beila Buendia in the 44th minute of play. Antonio Moreno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hechter Moya in the 45th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hechter Moya got free with Antonio Moreno in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beila Buendia was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, Girona FC's Beila Buendia made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonio Moreno was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raymond Cazorla during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th minute, Raymond Cazorla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xamo Feria in the 58th minute of play forced SD Cruces's goalkeeper Antonio Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Moreno came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Girona FC's Toribio Moreno. But to his dismay, Toribio Moreno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Antonio Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beila Buendia in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Julen Castellano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antonio Moreno was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. In the 71st minute Toribio Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Palencia acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 74th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Donato Nueva. 76 minutes into the game, Girona FC's Hechter Moya nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antonio Moreno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. 81 minutes into the match, SD Cruces's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Marrero came free, but Antonio Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beila Buendia struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Antonio Moreno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Girona FC. After some careless play in the SD Cruces defense, Hechter Moya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antonio Moreno. The SD Cruces fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antonio Moreno should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the match, Hechter Moya notched a goal, 9-1, to the right of SD Cruces's Antonio Moreno. Antonio Moreno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 94 minutes of play, Girona FC's Hechter Moya made it 10-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonio Moreno was left in no man's land by his defense there! Girona FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
