The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Antonio Fioriti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ke Xiong Chen in the 8th minute of play forced Cosuenda's goalkeeper Herberto Riba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 minutes of play, Sporting Burgas's Antonio Fioriti made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herberto Riba was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Cosuenda's Valentín Valdivia got a free kick in the 13th minute. Herberto Riba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonio Fioriti's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Antonio Fioriti scored 0-3 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herberto Riba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Herberto Riba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Fioriti in the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Sporting Burgas's Joel Ferrer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Herberto Riba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Fioriti in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herberto Riba saved Cosuenda from getting behind. 38 minutes into the game, Sporting Burgas's Antonio Fioriti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Herberto Riba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. In the 42nd minute, Ke Xiong Chen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herberto Riba was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Fioriti in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herberto Riba saved Cosuenda from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

Cosuenda's Herberto Riba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Cosuenda from getting a goal against them. In the 53rd minute, Sporting Burgas's Javier Carmona dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. Antonio Fioriti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Herberto Riba when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Herberto Riba made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Antonio Fioriti sent off a good shot on target. Javier Carmona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Fioriti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Herberto Riba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Ke Xiong Chen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Herberto Riba. Ke Xiong Chen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. The supporters of Sporting Burgas booed when Cosuenda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mendebal Astudillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Sporting Burgas fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Sporting Burgas's Antonio Fioriti looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-10 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Javier Carmona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herberto Riba having to interfere. Antonio Fioriti didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-14 via right post in the game's 94th minute. Sporting Burgas's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Sporting Burgas played a much better game than Cosuenda and deserved their victory. The Cosuenda players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
