The referee gave Santiago Leseduarte a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 26th match minute, Igeldo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Leseduarte to maneuver through the defense. Alejandro Sevilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zigor Barroso in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josete Valines saved Igeldo AFC from getting behind. Zigor Barroso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Josete Valines read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maureo Lopez de Toro was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Antoni Paris ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Josete Valines was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Eder Zapata kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 1-6 when Zigor Barroso sped through Igeldo AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Josete Valines. Antoni Paris might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Josete Valines. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antoni Paris ran back to his position shaking his head. Aliecer Freire's late challenge caught a Igeldo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aliecer Freire helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cometuétano's Aliecer Freire got a free kick in the 78th minute. Zigor Barroso had several of the Igeldo AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 82 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-7 score and a disappointed Josete Valines as he didn't even see the shot coming. 89 minutes into the game, Zigor Barroso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-8. Josete Valines was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cometuétano's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
