The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Julen Garate hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julen Garate during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute, Julen Garate hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th match minute, San Fernando CD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lamberto Valdivia to maneuver through the defense. Frodo Checa took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aristeo Cordoba. Aristeo Cordoba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Aristeo Cordoba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldovino Marques in the 25th minute of play. Aristeo Cordoba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucjan Nowacki in the 34th minute of play. Valeri Karpin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Nowacki in the 39th minute of play forced San Fernando CD's goalkeeper Aristeo Cordoba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristeo Cordoba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cido Paraíba in the 40th minute of play. Aristeo Cordoba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucjan Nowacki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aristeo Cordoba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valeri Karpin went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julen Garate stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julen Garate kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. 0-3 became the score in the 55th minute when Valeri Karpin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 58th minute, San Fernando CD's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Valeri Karpin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Lucjan Nowacki received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aristeo Cordoba came out and tried to block the shot, but Lucjan Nowacki slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute, Bandoleros Team 2.0's Valeri Karpin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucjan Nowacki in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristeo Cordoba saved San Fernando CD from getting behind. In the 69th minute Frodo Checa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristeo Cordoba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 played minutes San Fernando CD got a freekick which was hit by Lamberto Valdivia. Valeri Karpin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Aristeo Cordoba made a huge save. With a little luck, San Fernando CD's Aristeo Cordoba got control of the ball when Valeri Karpin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the San Fernando CD defense, Frodo Checa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aristeo Cordoba. The San Fernando CD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aristeo Cordoba should have stopped the shot. Aristeo Cordoba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frodo Checa in the 86th minute of the match. Aristeo Cordoba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucjan Nowacki, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Cido Paraíba recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aristeo Cordoba. Cido Paraíba showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Bandoleros Team 2.0 played a much better game than San Fernando CD and deserved their victory. The San Fernando CD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
