When Mari Huanca came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the NEWPEEN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mari Huanca couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, NEWPEEN's Kiliz Gonzalez got a free kick in the 10th minute. Remigijus Žirgulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentín Castellano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Rogelio Garoa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Paredes. eternautas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rogelio Garoa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 19 minutes NEWPEEN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oto Jemelka who took care of the corner kick. eternautas were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after NEWPEEN's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oto Jemelka took the corner. Valentín Castellano made a great header on eternautas's corner, it was just that NEWPEEN's Remigijus Žirgulis managed to reach the ball for a save. José Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Garoa in the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, NEWPEEN's goal looked a bit too open when Valentín Castellano came free, but Remigijus Žirgulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Min De la Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Remigijus Žirgulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remigijus Žirgulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Min De la Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When NEWPEEN's Rogelio Garoa in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye eternautas's goalie prevented a goal. After 38 played minutes eternautas got a freekick which was hit by Min De la Rosa. 45 minutes into the game, NEWPEEN's Rogelio Garoa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Paredes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 52nd minute of the match, Francesco Ibanez got a very nice opportunity to score, but José Paredes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. José Paredes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Garoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. José Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Garoa in the 60th minute of the match. After 60 minutes, Oto Jemelka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the eternautas and the NEWPEEN players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oto Jemelka hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 63rdth minute of the game Kryspin Piechna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NEWPEEN's Remigijus Žirgulis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Telmo Traus kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Remigijus Žirgulis came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by eternautas's Kryspin Piechna. But to his dismay, Kryspin Piechna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After some careless play in the NEWPEEN defense, Kryspin Piechna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remigijus Žirgulis. The NEWPEEN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remigijus Žirgulis should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, eternautas's Min De la Rosa got a free kick in the 71st minute. Kryspin Piechna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Francesco Ibanez could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which José Paredes however easily saved by the left post. NEWPEEN were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after eternautas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rogelio Garoa took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of eternautas's goalie and right to Xesc Benítez. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. eternautas's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Remigijus Žirgulis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kryspin Piechna, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute of the match eternautas got a corner. NEWPEEN's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oto Jemelka ran over to the corner to take the kick.
