In the 3rd minute Roland Renoux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabé Paz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Roland Renoux quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 15thth minute of the game Roland Renoux who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alicante c.f.'s Bernabé Paz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roland Renoux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabé Paz having to interfere. A collision led to Alicante c.f. getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Adán Ramiréz hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roland Renoux in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernabé Paz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29thth minute of the game Roland Renoux who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alicante c.f.'s Bernabé Paz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Roland Renoux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute, Agur Aus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Roland Renoux put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Bernabé Paz. After 39 minutes, Roland Renoux made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Alicante c.f.'s Bernabé Paz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernabé Paz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Renoux, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Galsino Vilanova scored 0-7 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernabé Paz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roland Renoux made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Zhang Ang Zhen notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Alicante c.f.'s Bernabé Paz. Bernabé Paz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Roland Renoux managed to get in a good position for a shot. HORTALEZA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Renoux was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernabé Paz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 59 minutes into the game, HORTALEZA FC's Roland Renoux nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernabé Paz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. With an all-out effort, HORTALEZA FC's Bernabé Paz threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roland Renoux, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. HORTALEZA FC's Roland Renoux was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 69th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Glauke Mihas couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Alicante c.f. getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Alejandro Gomar hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Roland Renoux managed to get in a good position for a shot. HORTALEZA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Renoux was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernabé Paz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded HORTALEZA FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Alicante c.f..
