After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Malvin Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alicante c.f.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Malvin Fernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aron Rainea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the match, Isaio Losada dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bernabé Paz, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agur Aus in the 42nd minute of play forced XSX F.C.'s goalkeeper Aron Rainea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabino Coya's late challenge caught a Alicante c.f.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agur Aus was the one to do the kick off. The XSX F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when XSX F.C.'s Balesio Arraz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 56 minutes, Higinio Bencoiechea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alicante c.f.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Higinio Bencoiechea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Alicante c.f.'s Agur Aus got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute, Isaio Losada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The XSX F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Ernesto Rooney hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Bernabé Paz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balesio Arraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernabé Paz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Balesio Arraz went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Alicante c.f.'s Alejandro Gomar was substituted for Llorian santillana. In the 92nd match minute, XSX F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Rooney to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the game, Balesio Arraz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Bernabé Paz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alejandro Gomar kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. In the 98th minute, Alonso Vicente ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernabé Paz was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. XSX F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
