Remigijus Žirgulis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xurdin Pena in the 13th minute. Xurdin Pena who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Remigijus Žirgulis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Melandru de Cenero's Andrea Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Montiel in the 21st minute of play. Remigijus Žirgulis was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Everett Gerber capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Everett Gerber really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Andrea Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Garoa in the 25th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, NEWPEEN's goal looked a bit too open when Everett Gerber came free, but Remigijus Žirgulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Melandru de Cenero's Xurdin Pena dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. When Melandru de Cenero's Everett Gerber in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye NEWPEEN's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Everett Gerber put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Remigijus Žirgulis. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rogelio Garoa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. NEWPEEN's Remigijus Žirgulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xurdin Pena in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute Everett Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigijus Žirgulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 minutes, Everett Gerber made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. NEWPEEN's Remigijus Žirgulis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everett Gerber in the 74th minute of play forced NEWPEEN's goalkeeper Remigijus Žirgulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, NEWPEEN's goal looked a bit too open when Xurdin Pena came free, but Remigijus Žirgulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xurdin Pena in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remigijus Žirgulis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Everett Gerber in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remigijus Žirgulis saved NEWPEEN from getting behind. Rogelio Garoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrea Perez having to interfere. Wu Le hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The Melandru de Cenero fans cheered their team off the field, for while NEWPEEN had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
