Bernabé Paz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredo Ramiréz, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Bazil Guijarro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Malvin Fernandez during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alicante c.f.'s Agur Aus got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 17 played minutes Alicante c.f. got a freekick which was hit by Llorian santillana. Agur Aus took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Olano. Enrique Olano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Enrique Olano was a little too slow when Malvin Fernandez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 2-0. After some careless play in the Alicante c.f. defense, Bazil Guijarro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernabé Paz. The Alicante c.f. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernabé Paz should have stopped the shot. If Malvin Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Eleuterio De la Torre in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Alicante c.f.'s Llorian santillana. Enrique Olano didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Alicante c.f.'s Agur Aus shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Enrique Olano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malvin Fernandez in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Agur Aus to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Alicante c.f.'s zone, Fredo Ramiréz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernabé Paz came out of the goal and Fredo Ramiréz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Martinet's Alejandro Valerón got a free kick in the 60th minute. Enrique Olano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrea Perez in the 61st minute of the match. Enrique Olano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agur Aus's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Bitxintxo Munoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Enrique Olano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Malvin Fernandez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Enrique Olano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Enrique Olano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agur Aus in the 72nd minute of play. Alicante c.f.'s Llorian santillana managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eleuterio De la Torre in the 79 minute of the game. If Fredo Ramiréz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredo Ramiréz struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Bernabé Paz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martinet. After 89 minutes, Bitxintxo Munoz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alicante c.f. and the Martinet players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bitxintxo Munoz hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Malvin Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrique Olano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agur Aus in the 96th minute of play. Alicante c.f. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
