Remigijus Žirgulis came out of the goal and Balesio Arraz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute, Rogelio Garoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the XSX F.C. defense, Rogelio Garoa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aron Rainea. The XSX F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aron Rainea should have stopped the shot. After 12 played minutes NEWPEEN got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Montiel. If Balesio Arraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alonso Vicente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigijus Žirgulis having to interfere. Aron Rainea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Garoa in the 18th minute of play. With a little luck, NEWPEEN's Remigijus Žirgulis got control of the ball when Balesio Arraz tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Alonso Vicente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, NEWPEEN's goalkeeper Remigijus Žirgulis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balesio Arraz. The audience thought a goal was coming when Placido Aguilo got free with Remigijus Žirgulis in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aron Rainea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Garoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jocelyn Angloma during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Balesio Arraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigijus Žirgulis having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Balesio Arraz was the one to do the kick off. Gabino Coya kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Garoa in the 59th minute of play forced XSX F.C.'s goalkeeper Aron Rainea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by XSX F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. NEWPEEN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogelio Garoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. NEWPEEN were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after XSX F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rogelio Garoa took the corner. After 71 minutes, Xesc Benítez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NEWPEEN and the XSX F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Xesc Benítez hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After 72 minutes, Qiao Yu Guang mouthed his way into the referee's book. After 94 played minutes XSX F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jesús Murcia. NEWPEEN's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
