Ander Otero charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ander Otero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th minute, Oscar Montiel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 10 played minutes NEWPEEN got a freekick which was hit by Qiao Yu Guang. The NEWPEEN fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when NEWPEEN's Rogelio Garoa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Oscar Montiel kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Anthony Stark could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Remigijus Žirgulis made a huge save. Eliseo Leal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Garoa in the 23rd minute of the match. After 24 played minutes Paquete Suca got a freekick which was hit by Dubardo Madariaga. 27 minutes into the match, Paquete Suca's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Montiel came free, but Eliseo Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Rogelio Garoa put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Eliseo Leal. Anthony Stark kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 35thth minute. Though ot was a great shot NEWPEEN's keeper Remigijus Žirgulis was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 36 minutes NEWPEEN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anthony Stark who took care of the corner kick. The audience was convinced that Rogelio Garoa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eliseo Leal was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Francesco Ibanez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Paquete Suca's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Montiel came free, but Eliseo Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvin Pilberg hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Mari Huanca charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mari Huanca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Remigijus Žirgulis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anthony Stark in the 44th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Paquete Suca's zone, Rogelio Garoa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseo Leal came out of the goal and Rogelio Garoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half NEWPEEN were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anthony Stark stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Paquete Suca's Eliseo Leal got control of the ball when Rogelio Garoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Anthony Stark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st match minute, Paquete Suca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvin Pilberg to maneuver through the defense. Eliseo Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Garoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. With an all-out effort, NEWPEEN's Eliseo Leal threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rogelio Garoa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eliseo Leal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oscar Montiel in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute of the match NEWPEEN got a corner. Paquete Suca's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rogelio Garoa ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of NEWPEEN booed when Paquete Suca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dubardo Madariaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseo Leal made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Rogelio Garoa sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the game, Rogelio Garoa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Eliseo Leal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 83 minutes into the game, Segundo Zamora cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Remigijus Žirgulis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th minute, Rogelio Garoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anthony Stark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for NEWPEEN! In the 94th minute there was a penalty for Paquete Suca. Anthony Stark stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Remigijus Žirgulis. 3-3. Anthony Stark recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paquete Suca succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though NEWPEEN had controlled the match.
