Spectators: 8012 (Terracing: 6011, Seating: 1842, VIP seats: 159) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Crescencio Guijarro took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Placido Aguilo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Lawrence saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 3 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when XSX F.C.'s Placido Aguilo fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Xano Castellano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Rainea having to interfere. In the 16th minute XSX F.C. were awarded a corner. Placido Aguilo went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on XSX F.C.'s corner Placido Aguilo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Angelino Lawrence quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, Velez-Malaga's Angelino Lawrence got control of the ball when Balesio Arraz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rdth minute of the game Crescencio Guijarro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but XSX F.C.'s Aron Rainea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reno Fonticoba in the 24th minute of play forced XSX F.C.'s goalkeeper Aron Rainea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, XSX F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Xano Castellano came free, but Aron Rainea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reno Fonticoba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aron Rainea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. After 27 played minutes, Velez-Malaga's Peru Alcaraz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aron Rainea came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Velez-Malaga reached it. When Pankracy Sliwinski came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Velez-Malaga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pankracy Sliwinski couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the game, Xano Castellano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aron Rainea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Angelino Lawrence showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonso Vicente in the 41st minute of the match. If Crescencio Guijarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xano Castellano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aron Rainea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Balesio Arraz made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Balesio Arraz in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelino Lawrence saved Velez-Malaga from getting behind. Aron Rainea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xano Castellano in the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balesio Arraz in the 54th minute of play forced Velez-Malaga's goalkeeper Angelino Lawrence to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Placido Aguilo made a great header on XSX F.C.'s corner, it was just that Velez-Malaga's Angelino Lawrence managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to XSX F.C. getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Gabino Coya hit a great ball. In the 57th minute Xano Castellano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Rainea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelino Lawrence made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Aguilo in the 59th minute of play. Angelino Lawrence showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Aguilo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Velez-Malaga's Angelino Lawrence played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonso Vicente in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to Velez-Malaga getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Peru Alcaraz hit a great ball. In the 65th match minute, Velez-Malaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kerim Tokgöz to maneuver through the defense. Angelino Lawrence showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Aguilo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Angelino Lawrence took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balesio Arraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Velez-Malaga's Angelino Lawrence played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Aguilo in the 69th minute of play. Alonso Vicente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Lawrence having to interfere. After 73 played minutes Velez-Malaga got a freekick which was hit by Peru Alcaraz. 77 minutes into the match, Velez-Malaga's goal looked a bit too open when Alonso Vicente came free, but Angelino Lawrence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Velez-Malaga's Xian Vacas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aron Rainea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Laurgain Jaen hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. A collision led to Velez-Malaga getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Xian Vacas hit a great ball. Placido Aguilo, 83 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 85 minutes of play, XSX F.C.'s Balesio Arraz made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelino Lawrence was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 88 minutes, Stasio Lizewski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the XSX F.C. and the Velez-Malaga players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 88 played minutes XSX F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Stasio Lizewski. 91 minutes into the match, XSX F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Xano Castellano came free, but Aron Rainea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
