When Malvin Fernandez came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Alicante c.f. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Malvin Fernandez couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute of the match, Galo Segura tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vitin Gabas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alicante c.f.'s Agur Aus was substituted for Luciano Esteban. A collision led to Murcia Promesas getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Licerio Lacorte hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When Fero Pascua came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Alicante c.f. fans jumped to their feet.
