After having played for 3 minutes, Frankie Yankovich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gitarriu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frankie Yankovich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 5 minutes into the match, Paulenca CD's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Lundström came free, but Angel Cuadrado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Felix Alacuart came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Gitarriu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Alacuart couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Lundström in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angel Cuadrado saved Paulenca CD from getting behind. Joel Lundström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Lundström struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Angel Cuadrado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gitarriu. Felix Alacuart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Cuadrado having to interfere. Paulenca CD's Angel Cuadrado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Paulenca CD from getting a goal against them. When Frankie Yankovich came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Gitarriu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frankie Yankovich couldn't finish the play. Paulenca CD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Joel Lundström scored to the left of an out of position Angel Cuadrado, making the score, 2-0. 34 minutes into the game, Frankie Yankovich cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Angel Cuadrado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 38 played minutes, Paulenca CD's Almarín Crespo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Damian Tipinski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paulenca CD reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Lundström in the 45th minute of play forced Paulenca CD's goalkeeper Angel Cuadrado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pau Rivera to strike the kick off in the second half. When Baptiste Ritieni came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Gitarriu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baptiste Ritieni couldn't finish the play. 4-0 became the score in the 55th minute when Frankie Yankovich elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Paulenca CD getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Luisito Crespo hit a great ball. Frankie Yankovich took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angel Cuadrado. Angel Cuadrado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Baptiste Ritieni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Angel Cuadrado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angel Cuadrado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Lundström's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Angel Cuadrado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frankie Yankovich, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Baptiste Ritieni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angel Cuadrado having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zenon Montero got free with Damian Tipinski in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 71 minutes, Joel Lundström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gitarriu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Lundström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damian Tipinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pau Rivera in the 83rd minute of play. Jane Gubanec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Joel Lundström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Joel Lundström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angel Cuadrado was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 88th minute, Zenon Montero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
