Gitarriu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joachim Coello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Felix Alacuart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Baptiste Ritieni got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 47th minute Felix Alacuart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Buendia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Gitarriu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. TiKiTaKa Fonsagrada were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joachim Coello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the TiKiTaKa Fonsagrada defense, Joel Lundström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sixto Buendia. The TiKiTaKa Fonsagrada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sixto Buendia should have stopped the shot. Demetrio Cabanela kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Joel Lundström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sixto Buendia was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. After 71 played minutes TiKiTaKa Fonsagrada got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Marcos. Gitarriu made a substitution. Antonio Bueno replaced Frankie Yankovich. After a rather tough play, TiKiTaKa Fonsagrada's Nemesio Marcos got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Joel Lundström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute, Joel Lundström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sixto Buendia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Gitarriu's Antonio Bueno got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Lundström in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sixto Buendia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Gitarriu booed when TiKiTaKa Fonsagrada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Pedriza didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Joachim Coello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the TiKiTaKa Fonsagrada players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gitarriu.
