A hard shot by Alano Saez from long distance, 87 minutes into the match, got Angel Cuadrado's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a defensive mix-up in Cantera O Más F.C.'s zone, Valerio Correa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Irureta came out of the goal and Valerio Correa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Irureta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pau Rivera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulenca CD's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
