But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Asier Izquierdo couldn't finish the play. The tension between the Saladavieja FC and the Asturcones d´la Abadía players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee showed Asier Izquierdo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Xurxo Lagunas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Duarte Vera made a huge save. In the 35th match minute, Asturcones d´la Abadía was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xurxo Lagunas to maneuver through the defense. Saladavieja FC were furious when Antoni Lopez was red carded, 40 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 42nd minute, Veremundo Lastras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
Duarte Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xurxo Lagunas in the 55th minute of the match. Duarte Vera came out of the goal and Veremundo Lastras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 77 minutes, Filomeno Tormes made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Saladavieja FC's Duarte Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
