After 39 played minutes Monteagudo Del Castillo got a freekick which was hit by Goren Cuevas. 40 minutes into the game, Poli Prieto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monteagudo Del Castillo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rayo De Barcelona the free kick. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Monteagudo Del Castillo! 45 minutes into the match, Monteagudo Del Castillo's goalkeeper Francesco Lagunas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rémi Berges. After a defensive mix-up in Monteagudo Del Castillo's zone, Danilo Couto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francesco Lagunas came out of the goal and Danilo Couto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rémi Berges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Francesco Lagunas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rémi Berges to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, Rayo De Barcelona's Danilo Couto made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francesco Lagunas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Danilo Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rémi Berges in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francesco Lagunas saved Monteagudo Del Castillo from getting behind. 83 minutes into the match, Rémi Berges had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francesco Lagunas. Monteagudo Del Castillo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rémi Berges was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Monteagudo Del Castillo's Francesco Lagunas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Couto in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute Rémi Berges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Lagunas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Monteagudo Del Castillo booed when Rayo De Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rémi Berges didn't get a good kick on the ball.
