Eutropio Canturri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Flores having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, Sabucedo AD's goal looked a bit too open when Slamet Supit came free, but Saturnino Flores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donato Flores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Calleri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tirso Ucero got free with Donato Flores in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jude Bellingham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Eutropio Canturri fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Portugalete's protests and gave Eutropio Canturri a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Eutropio Canturri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Carvajal hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. A long shot from Jonathan Calleri in the 20th minute of play was well struck, but Donato Flores made a really good save at the right post. Tirso Ucero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24thth minute of the game Valentin Ercoli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugalete's Donato Flores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Portugalete getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Urbasa Casillas hit a great ball. With a little luck, Portugalete's Donato Flores got control of the ball when Tirso Ucero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Portugalete's Donato Flores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Portugalete from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Ercoli in the 37th minute of play forced Portugalete's goalkeeper Donato Flores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Atilio Folch cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Donato Flores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 43rd minute, Sabucedo AD's Valentin Ercoli ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Donato Flores. Donato Flores yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0.

The wind increased when Eutropio Canturri made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Atilio Folch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sabucedo AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Atilio Folch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Flores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 62 minutes of play, Sabucedo AD's Tirso Ucero made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donato Flores was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sabucedo AD's Balesio Esperta was substituted for Atilio Folch. A collision led to Portugalete getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ioseba Mondejar hit a great ball. Portugalete's Bras Urbina was substituted for Daniel Carvajal. A collision led to Portugalete getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Donato Flores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tirso Ucero in the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Portugalete's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Calleri came free, but Donato Flores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute Tirso Ucero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Flores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donato Flores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balesio Esperta in the 79th minute of the match. Donato Flores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Dalheim, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Donato Flores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balesio Esperta in the 82nd minute of play. Balesio Esperta took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donato Flores. Donato Flores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Balesio Esperta put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Donato Flores. Donato Flores came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Sabucedo AD's Valentin Ercoli. But to his dismay, Valentin Ercoli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Portugalete's Donato Flores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Ercoli in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Jonathan Calleri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Donato Flores. Portugalete's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathan Calleri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. There was no doubt that Sabucedo AD were the better team. Sabucedo AD's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
