East Telde United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Angel Merino scored to the left of an out of position Llorenc Silvestre, making the score, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Piotr Gacek to strike the kick off in the second half. Heriberto Barro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Quinito Rosas went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Golden Alba Cete's zone, Piotr Gacek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Heriberto Barro came out of the goal and Piotr Gacek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quinito Rosas took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Heriberto Barro. Heriberto Barro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Heriberto Barro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quinito Rosas in the 61st minute of the match. Heriberto Barro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Quinito Rosas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 63 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quinito Rosas in the 67th minute of play forced Golden Alba Cete's goalkeeper Heriberto Barro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Golden Alba Cete's goalkeeper Heriberto Barro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Quinito Rosas. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anísio Arósio got free with Heriberto Barro in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anísio Arósio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Heriberto Barro firmly grabbed it by the left post. 84 minutes into the game, Oscar Gómez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Golden Alba Cete's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave East Telde United the free kick. In the 84th match minute, Golden Alba Cete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Gómez to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Golden Alba Cete's Timo Aizpurua seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Timo Aizpurua the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Golden Alba Cete protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Timo Aizpurua had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Piotr Gacek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heriberto Barro having to interfere. Heriberto Barro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quinito Rosas in the 95th minute of play. A collision led to East Telde United getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Krzysztof Balonek hit a great ball. The Golden Alba Cete fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. East Telde United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
