Gartzen Barberá came out of the goal and Matxin Zárate tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jurand Hetmans short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Manuel Antonio Caballero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Luciano Esteban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petros Kapellos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Manuel Antonio Caballero firmly grabbed it by the left post.
