The supporters of F.C.Rohan booed when República was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Brejnebøl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stasio Klimkiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uroš Djordjević, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. República's Manuel Antonio Caballero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leal Losantos in the 21st minute of play. After some careless play in the República defense, Paul Cacheres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Antonio Caballero. The República fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Antonio Caballero should have stopped the shot. 26 minutes into the game, F.C.Rohan's Xaime Canosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Antonio Caballero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Manuel Antonio Caballero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leal Losantos in the 29th minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, F.C.Rohan's Xaime Canosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paul Cacheres was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Leal Losantos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manuel Antonio Caballero. Leal Losantos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Manuel Antonio Caballero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xaime Canosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Xaime Canosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C.Rohan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. In the 57th minute Eduardo Ponce De Leon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stasio Klimkiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute of the match, Leal Losantos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Manuel Antonio Caballero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Paul Cacheres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Manuel Antonio Caballero made a huge save. República's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Xaime Canosa scored to the left of an out of position Manuel Antonio Caballero, making the score, 1-9. Manuel Antonio Caballero was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Paul Cacheres capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paul Cacheres really showed his touch with that goal: 1-10. Eduardo Ponce De Leon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stasio Klimkiewicz having to interfere. The República fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. F.C.Rohan were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
