Rentería F's Elazar Checa got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8th minute Celino Vilanova shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anakoz Blanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Juan Higuera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Rentería F's goal looked a bit too open when Celino Vilanova came free, but Anakoz Blanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Carreira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guter De Pablo went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Anakoz Blanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xusto Morcego in the 23rd minute of play. Anakoz Blanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xusto Morcego, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Imanol Ponce during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Haitz Palencia made a great header on Real Solymar FC's corner, it was just that Rentería F's Anakoz Blanco managed to reach the ball for a save. Anakoz Blanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celino Vilanova in the 46th minute of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Juan Higuera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a rather tough play, Rentería F's Juan Higuera got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After 54 played minutes Real Solymar FC got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Candamil. Currito Echavarri kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After 57 minutes, Antonio Saura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Solymar FC and the Rentería F players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Real Solymar FC! When the match had been going on for 58 minutes, Rentería F's Hechter Llorca got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rolando Carreira. Guter De Pablo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hechter Llorca hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The supporters of Real Solymar FC booed when Rentería F was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hechter Llorca didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Xusto Morcego left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Solymar FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hechter Llorca during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Rentería F getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Hechter Llorca hit a great ball. If Guter De Pablo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anakoz Blanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xusto Morcego, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Guter De Pablo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Carreira. Real Solymar FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guter De Pablo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. If Xusto Morcego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Higuera in the 96th minute of play forced Real Solymar FC's goalkeeper Rolando Carreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Carreira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guter De Pablo in the 99th minute.
