Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Real Solymar FC's Xusto Morcego started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Pablo Novo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Carreira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Real Solymar FC's Rolando Carreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Novo in the 13th minute of play. Atlético de Candamil were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Real Solymar FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Milton Labarra took the corner. Atlético de Candamil's Milton Labarra was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rolando Carreira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cesareo Molina made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Mateo Blazquez sent off a good shot on target. Rolando Carreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boniel Alonso in the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Boniel Alonso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Rolando Carreira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mateo Blazquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Cesareo Molina made a huge save. Elvio Cameno scored 0-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Carreira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd minute, Peio Santander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boniel Alonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Rolando Carreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Real Solymar FC's Isidro Abril got a free kick in the 39th minute. Rolando Carreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Novo in the 41st minute of play. Atlético de Candamil's Boniel Alonso got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elvio Cameno made a kick off. With a little luck, Real Solymar FC's Rolando Carreira got control of the ball when Ibon Medina tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Real Solymar FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Antonio Saura hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Cameno in the 56th minute of play forced Real Solymar FC's goalkeeper Rolando Carreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elvio Cameno had several of the Real Solymar FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 57 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Rolando Carreira as he didn't even see the shot coming. 60 minutes into the game, Boniel Alonso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Rolando Carreira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Boniel Alonsos short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Rolando Carreira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Boniel Alonso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Rolando Carreira made a huge save. Rolando Carreira came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético de Candamil's Boniel Alonso. But to his dismay, Boniel Alonso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Real Solymar FC's Nando Jurado was substituted for Imanol Ponce. Rolando Carreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reimundo Viqueira in the 75th minute of play. 0-7 became the score in the 88th minute when Xalo Guerrero elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ladio Cartagena scored 0-8 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Carreira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Atlético de Candamil's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
